How to be great at public speaking!

Hey guys,
Today I thought I would tell you how to master public speaking. So I'm sure we've all been in the situation when we've had to speak in front of a lot of people. It might be a few people,a room of people or a crowd of people but its still scary.Lately in school we've all had to do public speaking in front of the class. I have to admit I wasn't very good at it at first but everything comes with practice. Here is a list of my tips and tricks to make public speaking easier.

1..Act like your superhero self
This might sound a bit strange but if you act like a confident superhero it makes you feel 10 times better.Even if your'e feeling terrified on the inside, make yourself seem confident so the audience will think you are.

2.Make sure you learn your speech really well
Make sure you learn your speech and practice many times. This will make it come more naturally when you come to doing the speech. I would advise you to have a few bullet points with a few key words or facts to remind you what you're going to say.If you don't learn your speech, it will only make you more nervous because you will be worried that you will forget it.
 3.Speak clearly
This is extremely important to make sure you get your point across so that everyone can understand. If you mumble, people may loose interest.

4.Project your voice
When your'e nervous you can often speak quite quietly so some people may not hear. If you project your voice loudly, more people will hear so more people can engage in your speech. This is especially important if you don't have a mic and if your speaking in a large room.

5. Relax!
My last point is to relax- just pretend you are talking to yourself in the mirror. If you relax your speech will flow better and you will feel more confident about yourself.

I hope you have enjoyed this post and have found it useful.Public speaking is scary but can be made simple- you will soon be fab at public speaking!

Bye guys and I hope you have a great day.
